01 — Click prices

What does a Google Ads click cost in Miami?

In the Miami–Fort Lauderdale market, the top-of-page bid for a home-service search ran from about $15 to $111 in October 2026, depending on the trade (Google Keyword Planner, Miami-Ft. Lauderdale DMA). Miami is not expensive across the board. Plumbing, AC and garage door clicks top out below the national figure; pest control, pool service and roof repair cost more here.

Same English search, Miami-Ft. Lauderdale DMA vs the whole U.S. (Google Keyword Planner, October 17, 2026):

Search (monthly searches, Miami DMA)Miami DMA top-of-page bidU.S. top-of-page bid

mechanic near me (8,100)$2.68 – $8.62$2.00 – $7.90

Four numbers stand out. The top bid for "plumber near me" in the Miami DMA was $57.95 in October 2026, 70% of the U.S. ceiling of $82.33 and less than half of the $121.00 Google showed for Tampa a few days earlier (Keyword Planner, Oct 14 and 17, 2026). "Pest control near me" topped out at $82.49 in Miami against $51.41 nationally, 60% higher. "Pool service near me" reached $33.06 against $20.45, 62% higher. And 1,900 of the 5,400 monthly U.S. searches for "impact windows" come from the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale DMA, about 35% of national demand from one media market.

Top-of-page bid is Google's estimate of what advertisers paid to appear above the organic results; the low end approximates the 20th percentile of recent top-of-page bids and the high end the 80th (Google Ads Help). DMA (designated market area) is the media market Google uses for local estimates. These are estimates, not quotes.

02 — What it means

Why does the same budget buy so much more in some Miami trades?

Because each trade is a separate auction with its own competitors. A Miami plumber pays less per click than a Tampa plumber, but a Miami pest control or pool company pays well above the national price, so one metro-wide budget will overspend in some trades and underspend in others.

So a Miami account should be split by job first. Emergency plumbing and routine drain work need separate campaigns, because the emergency click costs up to $83.07 here and the routine one tops out at $57.95. A pool company should plan its cost per lead around a $33 click, not the $20 national figure.

Our reading of the impact-window number: with about a third of U.S. searches in one market, a Miami-Dade or Broward window company is in the most crowded version of that auction, so a clear landing page and a fast callback are worth more than an extra $10 a day.

Two Miami facts shape the copy. Miami-Dade and Broward are the only Florida counties in the High Velocity Hurricane Zone, the strictest wind section of the Florida Building Code (Engineering Express, citing the code). And products sold for that zone carry their own approvals: a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) states the product was "designed to comply with the Florida Building Code, including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone," and it expires on the date printed on it (Miami-Dade Product Control). If your ad says "Miami-Dade approved," the approval has to be current for the exact product you sell.

03 — English and Spanish

Should a Miami business run Google Ads in Spanish?

Sometimes, but not because of population alone. 75.3% of Miami-Dade residents age 5 and older speak a language other than English at home (U.S. Census, ACS 2020–2024), yet most local searches are still typed in English: "plumber near me" gets 12,100 searches a month in the Miami DMA and "plomero cerca de mi" gets 390. Spanish earns its own campaign in the trades where Spanish searches carry real volume.

Plumbingplumber near me: 12,100plomero cerca de mi: 390 ($10.36 – $32.40)

Source: Google Keyword Planner, Miami-Ft. Lauderdale DMA, October 2026. In auto repair, Spanish searches equal about 32% of the English volume; in plumbing, about 3%. Broward is different from Miami-Dade, too: 43.8% of Broward residents speak a language other than English at home, against 22.3% nationally (U.S. Census QuickFacts, 2020–2024).

Google also changed the rules this fall. Since late September 2026, the language setting is gone from Search campaigns, and Google matches ads based on the language of the ad and landing page plus the languages it believes the user understands (Google Ads Help; Search Engine Journal, August 13, 2026). A bilingual customer who types in English can now see your Spanish ad, which only helps if your landing page and your front desk speak Spanish too. Eloari manages campaigns in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

05 — Florida rules

Which Florida rules change what a Miami ad can say?

Florida writes several requirements straight into advertising law: licensed contractors must show their license number in every ad (§489.119), roofers cannot advertise to induce an insurance claim (§489.147), and movers must print their state registration number in every ad (§507.03). These apply to Google and Meta ads the same way they apply to a truck or a flyer.

RuleWhat the law saysWhat it means for your ads
§489.119(5)(b)A contractor's registration or certification number must appear "in each offer of services, business proposal, bid, contract, or advertisement, regardless of medium."Plumbers, AC, roofing and pool contractors: put the license number in the ad (an asset, the description or the image) and on the landing page.
§489.147No ad that "encourages, instructs, or induces a consumer to contact a contractor or public adjuster for the purpose of making an insurance claim for roof damage"; fines up to $10,000 per violation. After a storm, sell the inspection and the repair, not the claim. No gift card or deductible offers.
§507.03(6)"Each advertisement of a mover must include the phrase 'Fla. Mover Reg. No.' or 'Fla. IM No.'" Moving brokers must show their broker number and say they are paid to arrange a registered mover. Civil penalty up to $5,000.Put the registration number in every moving ad and on the landing page.
HVHZ product approvalMiami-Dade and Broward sit in the High Velocity Hurricane Zone; Florida Product Approval separates products for use inside and outside it, and a Miami-Dade NOA has an expiration date."Miami-Dade approved" or "HVHZ rated" in a window, door or roofing ad must be true for that product on the day the ad runs.

06 — Storm calendar

How should a Miami account handle hurricane season?

The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30 (NOAA National Hurricane Center), which in Miami covers half the year. Build the storm plan into the account so spend shifts in hours.

StageWhenWhat changes in the account
Before the seasonApril – MaySeparate emergency and routine campaigns, storm copy approved in both languages, license numbers checked, call tracking tested.
Watch or warning issued48–72 hours outShutter, impact window and generator ads pushed if you sell them; routine work scaled down; ad schedule matched to the hours someone can answer.
Landfall and outagesDay 0 – 3Spend paused in ZIP codes without power or access, and a daily cap so calls you cannot take do not drain the month.
RecoveryWeeks 1 – 8Water damage, roof repair and AC demand rises; budget follows booked jobs county by county, and roofing copy stays inside §489.147.

08 — Pricing

How much does a PPC agency cost in Miami?

U.S. agencies typically charge $1,000 to $5,000 a month for small and mid-sized accounts, or 10% to 20% of ad spend, most often 15%, plus a setup fee of $2,500 to $10,000. Eloari charges a flat fee from $900 a month, with no setup fee, no percentage and no markup on media.

TierMonthly feeSuited to
Starter$900/moAd spend under $5,000/mo
Growth$1,500/moAd spend $5,000–$20,000/mo
Full$2,500/moAd spend $20,000+/mo

Judge any fee against the total budget. At $5,000 of ad spend, a $900 fee is 15% of what you put to work; at $2,000 it is 31%. For paid search to produce reliable data, plan on roughly $2,000 to $3,000 a month in ad spend, which you pay directly to Google and Meta. At an $82 top bid, that buys a few dozen top clicks, so start with one service, one county and working tracking.

Before you sign with anyone, run through the Florida agency buyer's guide: who owns the accounts, how the fee moves with spend, and what happens when you leave.

Which areas around Miami does Eloari serve?

Eloari runs accounts for Miami-Dade and Broward businesses remotely from Davenport, Florida. The Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach metro had about 6.39 million residents in 2025 (U.S. Census Bureau via FRED), and targeting is drawn by city or ZIP code, not the whole metro.

10 — Questions

Miami questions

How much does Google Ads cost in Miami?

It depends on the trade. In October 2026 the top-of-page bid in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale DMA ran $16.01 to $57.95 for "plumber near me," $11.85 to $82.49 for "pest control near me" and $29.22 to $100.00 for "roof repair near me" (Google Keyword Planner). For paid search to produce reliable data, plan on roughly $2,000 to $3,000 a month in ad spend.

How much does a PPC agency charge in Miami?

U.S. agencies typically charge $1,000 to $5,000 a month, or 10% to 20% of ad spend, plus a $2,500 to $10,000 setup fee. Eloari charges a flat fee from $900 a month, with no setup fee, no percentage of spend and month-to-month terms.

Is Miami more expensive for Google Ads than the rest of the U.S.?

Not across the board. Plumbing, AC and garage door clicks topped out at or below the U.S. figure in October 2026, while pest control (+60%), pool service (+62%) and roof repair (+44%) ran well above it (Google Keyword Planner). Budget by trade, not by city.

Should my Miami business advertise in Spanish?

Only where Spanish searches carry volume and your team can answer in Spanish. In the Miami DMA, Spanish auto repair searches equal about 32% of English volume, but Spanish plumbing searches only about 3% (Google Keyword Planner, October 2026). Since September 2026, Google matches Search ads by the language of the ad and landing page, so a bilingual customer searching in English can still see a Spanish ad.

Do I need a Miami-based agency?

No. What matters is Miami data, Florida ad rules and an account built around your service area. Eloari is based in Davenport, Florida, runs accounts remotely across the U.S., and the founder manages each account personally.

What does a Florida contractor have to put in a Google ad?

Florida Statute 489.119(5)(b) requires the contractor's registration or certification number in every advertisement, regardless of medium. Movers must include "Fla. Mover Reg. No." or "Fla. IM No." under §507.03(6). Confirm final wording with your own adviser.

How long until Google Ads works for a Miami business?

Campaigns usually launch around day 14, after tracking is installed and verified. The first real optimization decisions come between day 21 and day 30, and meaningful cost-per-lead improvement usually shows in month two or three.
