Plumbing and electrical
18,100 monthly searches for "plumber near me" and 8,100 for "electrician near me", with top bids of $121 and $135.
Eloari is a PPC agency that runs Google Ads and Meta Ads for Tampa Bay businesses for a flat fee from $900 a month, month to month, with no setup fee and every account in your name. Tampa clicks are expensive: in the Tampa–St. Petersburg market, "electrician near me" tops out at $135 a click against $56 nationally (Google Keyword Planner, October 2026). So the work here starts with tracking booked jobs, a budget split by job and county, and a plan for storm weeks.

01 — The short answer
A PPC agency buys ads you pay for only when someone clicks (Google Search, Google Local Services Ads, Facebook and Instagram) and is judged by what each booked job costs, not by clicks. In Tampa Bay that job is harder than the national average, because the same searches cost more here and demand swings with hurricane season.
The Tampa–St. Petersburg–Clearwater metro had 3,405,357 residents in July 2024, up from 2.79 million in 2010 (U.S. Census Bureau estimates via FRED and USAFacts). Most agencies ranking for "ppc agency tampa" do not publish their fee, their terms or what a click costs here. This page does, with a source and date next to each number.
The short version:
02 — Click prices
For emergency home services, a top-of-page Google click in the Tampa–St. Petersburg market costs $30 to $166, often well above the U.S. figure for the same search (Google Keyword Planner, Tampa DMA vs. United States, October 14, 2026).
Top-of-page bid is Google's estimate of what advertisers pay to show above the organic results; Google gives it as a low-to-high range. DMA (designated market area) is the TV and ad market Google uses for Tampa–St. Petersburg (Sarasota) (Pasco and Hernando south to Sarasota, inland to Polk).
| Search (monthly searches, Tampa DMA) | Tampa DMA top-of-page bid | U.S. top-of-page bid |
|---|---|---|
| plumber near me (18,100) | $29.70 – $121.00 | $12.04 – $81.91 |
| emergency plumber near me (1,900) | $50.41 – $147.81 | $18.59 – $102.31 |
| electrician near me (8,100) | $29.90 – $135.00 | $6.20 – $55.98 |
| ac repair near me (8,100) | $43.47 – $142.77 | $13.98 – $100.00 |
| garage door repair (4,400) | $27.65 – $104.50 | $16.59 – $81.91 |
| roof repair near me (2,400) | $22.81 – $84.29 | $14.89 – $71.23 |
| dental implants near me (2,400) | $17.14 – $66.27 | $11.02 – $48.70 |
| pest control near me (4,400) | $10.14 – $42.90 | $9.24 – $42.80 |
| pool service near me (1,900) | $6.86 – $22.00 | $2.91 – $18.38 |
Three things stand out in the Tampa numbers:
These are auction estimates, not your bill; a tight account often pays less than the high end. Still, at $121 a click, a $2,000 month buys about 16 clicks on "plumber near me" at the top of the page, so the account has to know which of those calls became paid work.
03 — Watch
Jonatã Ariel Silveira breaks down Google Ads for HVAC in Tampa Bay: AC repair clicks up to $143, emergency AC up to $173, and why an $89 tune-up call should never count the same as a new system.

04 — Storm calendar
Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30 (NOAA National Hurricane Center), and in Tampa Bay it can turn a normal week of searches into an emergency week overnight. A Tampa account needs a written plan for before, during and after a storm, not a budget that sits on autopilot.
2024 made the point twice. After Hurricane Helene, Pinellas County assessors had reviewed 26,165 properties by September 30, 2024, and counted 255 destroyed and 15,660 with major damage (WUSF). The National Hurricane Center later counted at least 18,512 structures with major damage across Pinellas and Hillsborough. Two weeks later, on October 10, 2024, Hurricane Milton left Tampa Electric with 584,000 outages out of 840,000 customers (FOX 13 Tampa Bay).
A storm does three things at once: people without power cannot see ads, restoration and roofing searches spike, and out-of-area crews flood the auction. This is how we run a Tampa account through it.
| Stage | When | What changes in the account |
|---|---|---|
| Before the season | April – May | Separate emergency and routine campaigns, storm copy approved in advance, call tracking and offline job import tested. |
| Watch or warning issued | 48–72 hours | Routine campaigns scaled down, prep services (shutters, generators, tree work) pushed if you sell them, schedules matched to staffed hours. |
| Landfall and outages | Day 0 – 3 | Spend paused in ZIP codes without power or access, and a cap so calls you cannot answer do not drain the month. |
| Recovery | Week 1 – 8 | Restoration, roofing, mold and AC demand ramps up; budget follows booked jobs county by county, and copy stays inside Florida's roof-claim rules. |
| Off-season | December – March | Maintenance plans, replacements and seasonal visitors in Pinellas; time to test landing pages while clicks are calmer. |
05 — Florida rules
Two Florida statutes shape contractor ads in Tampa Bay: §489.119 requires the license number in every advertisement, in any medium, and §489.147 bans ads that push homeowners to file a roof-damage insurance claim, with fines of up to $10,000 per violation (Florida Statutes, 2025).
| Rule | What the law says | What it means for your ads |
|---|---|---|
| §489.119(5)(b) | The contractor's registration or certification number "shall appear in each offer of services, business proposal, bid, contract, or advertisement, regardless of medium." | Put the license number in Google and Meta ads (an asset, the description or the image) and on the landing page, not just on the truck. |
| §489.147(1)(a), (2)(a) | A contractor may not solicit a homeowner with an ad that "encourages, instructs, or induces a consumer to contact a contractor or public adjuster for the purpose of making an insurance claim for roof damage." | After a storm, sell the inspection and the repair, not the claim. "We'll get your insurance to pay" style headlines are out. |
| §489.147(2)(b), (3) | No "rebate, gift, gift card, cash, coupon, waiver of any insurance deductible" in exchange for a roof inspection or a claim; "up to a $10,000 fine for each violation." | No gift card or deductible offers in roofing ads. A discount on the work itself is a different conversation for your attorney, not your agency. |
This is not legal advice; confirm borderline copy with your own counsel before it runs.
06 — Where the numbers point
Paid ads pay off where one customer is worth several hundred dollars or more and someone answers within the hour. The Tampa DMA data (Keyword Planner, October 2026) points to six groups.
18,100 monthly searches for "plumber near me" and 8,100 for "electrician near me", with top bids of $121 and $135.
8,100 searches for "ac repair near me" with bids up to $143, while "furnace repair" gets 720 searches and no bid estimate at all. Tampa is a cooling market.
5,400 searches for "roofers near me", 590 for "water damage restoration" at up to $103.
2,400 searches for "dental implants near me" at up to $66, and 2,900 for "med spa near me" at only $11, where Meta often carries more of the load. See healthcare PPC.
Recurring-service businesses: 1,900 searches for "pool service near me", 2,400 for "lawn care near me", 4,400 for "pest control near me". The goal is plans, not one-off visits.
1,000 searches a month for "hurricane shutters" and 590 for "impact windows" at up to $50.
07 — Who runs it
Jonatã Ariel Silveira
President, Eloari Management Group
Tampa accounts are run by the founder, not passed to a junior after the sales call. Eloari is based in Davenport, Florida, about an hour east of Tampa on I-4, and currently manages more than $100,000 per week in advertising spend across client accounts.
08 — Pricing
Eloari charges a flat monthly fee from $900, with no setup fee and no percentage of ad spend; most U.S. agencies charge $1,000 to $5,000 a month or 10–20% of spend, plus a $2,500–$10,000 setup fee (Eloari's published reference ranges). The fee is the same in Tampa as anywhere else; what Tampa changes is the ad budget you need.
| Tier | Monthly fee | Suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $900/mo | Ad spend under $5,000/mo |
| Growth | $1,500/mo | Ad spend $5,000–$20,000/mo |
| Full | $2,500/mo | Ad spend $20,000+/mo |
Ad spend is paid directly to Google and Meta, with no markup. For paid search, $2,000 to $3,000 a month is a sensible minimum; Tampa emergency trades, with top clicks above $100, usually need the upper end.
Example, not a forecast: if your average click costs $60, one in eight clicks calls, and one in three calls books, each call costs $480 and each booked job $1,440. Fine for a $10,000 AC system, a loss on a $450 repair: that is why Tampa accounts are split by job.
09 — Choosing an agency
Ask every Tampa agency the same five questions and compare the answers in writing. These are the criteria Eloari publishes and is held to; the longer version is in our guide to choosing a marketing agency in Florida.
| Question | Good answer | Warning sign |
|---|---|---|
| Who owns the ad accounts? | You do; the agency is added as a user | Accounts live in the agency's manager account |
| How is the fee set? | Flat, and it does not rise with your budget | A percentage of ad spend |
| What do the reports show? | Cost per lead and cost per booked job | Impressions, reach and clicks |
| What is the storm plan? | A written pause-and-shift rule by county | "Google's automation handles it" |
| Who does the work? | A named person, the same one after the sale | A junior you meet after signing |
10 — Coverage
The metro spans four counties (Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando), and they rarely deserve the same budget. Pinellas also draws seasonal visitors from the North: in Visit St. Pete-Clearwater's June 2025 report, New York (9.8%), Michigan (5.7%) and Pennsylvania (4.8%) were the top origin states after Florida. We draw targeting around the ZIP codes that already produce your best customers, then widen.

11 — Questions
Eloari charges a flat fee from $900 a month with no setup fee, never a percentage of ad spend, and month-to-month terms. Across the U.S., agencies commonly charge $1,000 to $5,000 a month or 10–20% of spend, often with a $2,500–$10,000 setup fee. Ad spend is separate and paid directly to Google and Meta.
It depends on the search. In the Tampa–St. Petersburg market, top-of-page bids run up to $121 for "plumber near me", $135 for "electrician near me" and $143 for "ac repair near me", but only $22 for "pool service near me" (Google Keyword Planner, October 2026). Those are auction estimates; a tight account often pays less.
Pause or cap spend in the ZIP codes that have lost power or access, because those people cannot see your ads and you may not be able to answer the calls. Keep campaigns running where crews can work, and shift budget to restoration, roofing and AC jobs as recovery starts. Write that plan before June 1, not during the storm.
Yes. Florida Statute 489.119(5)(b) says the contractor's registration or certification number must appear in each advertisement, regardless of medium. That includes Google and Meta ads and the landing page they send people to.
Not in a way that pushes the homeowner to file a roof-damage claim. Florida Statute 489.147 bans ads that encourage a roof insurance claim and offers of gifts, cash or deductible waivers for an inspection or claim, with fines of up to $10,000 per violation. Advertise the inspection and the repair, and check borderline copy with your own attorney.
No. What matters is that the person running the account knows Tampa's prices, its counties and its storm calendar. Eloari is based in Davenport, Florida, runs accounts remotely across the United States, and lists Tampa among the areas it serves.
